The City of Forest Hills was incorporated in December, 1959. It includes not only a residental subdivision, but also a large business area bounded by Taylorsville Rd., Hurstbourne Parkway and Bunsen Pkway. The City Office is located in the Community of Christ Church at 2401 Merriwood Dr.

CURRENT NEWS

CHANGE IN LEAF REMOVAL SCHEDULE

The dates needed to be changed as the dumping site used by Greenway is closed on Sundays.

Monday, November 20th & Tuesday, November 21st

Monday, December 11th & Tuesday, December 12th.

Our first attempt at this new endeavor is going well except for a few little tweeks, as any new project will incur.  The days were chosen so residents who are off on weekends can take advantage of this program.  Please no parking on the streets those days.  Be sure to blow or rake your leaves curbside and they will be vacuumed away.  No sticks or trash should be mixed in with the leaves as sticks could cause the machinery to break down.  Any other material will not be accepted at the disposal sight.  Collection for both days will begin at 9:00 a.m, Weather Permitting!

Due to a mold issue in the Community of Christ Church, the office for the City will be closed for several weeks.  Voice mail will be checked daily during the business week and messages returned within 24 hrs.  You can also reach us by e-mail at foresthillsci787@bellsouth.com.  The next meeting will be Nov. 13th at Forest Commons.

Waste Management's updated missed collection phone number is (502) 966-0117.
